Life is Change


The universe, since its ultimate creation, has changed forms, into galaxies with solar systems, planets that are strewn across them like atoms in an empty space. On our planet, a special little thing called life happened to evolve. Everything in this universe is temporary and will change eventually. We all turn to dust, and considering the longevity of our reality, our lives are but a flash of light in a world of darkness. People often fear the unknown, like what comes after death, or that their works will all be washed to nothingness over the course of time. All we are is sunbeams, shooting up through space and time until decaying eventually. We have the fear of being temporary. People try to escape this fear by building huge towers, increasing their wealth and leaving something behind. They try to help other people, some greats will be remembered, for their names are engraved in shiny plaques under bronze statues. For they have children who will have children of their own, and in some way their legacy will live on after them - Still, it is all temporary.

There are only two things I can think of, that are truly permanent. Firstly, change is permanent in life. And after life changes to death, for all we can say now, death is permanent. So, being confronted with our dauntingly dark destiny, what are we to do? As long as this inevitable fate lays in the future, what is left is to enjoy oneself every moment in hedonistic certainty that in the end, our soul will embed its beautiful face in a satin cushion for good.

You are what you do

The world is full of evil. Often we are scarred by default from all the things that are imperfect. Many people have parents who made mistakes, and later on in life blame them for their own failures. But the truth of the fact is that no matter what happened before one, the only one who is responsible for the way we react to the situations given to us, is oneself. Since birth, every person develops his own mindset, that is unique, and we don't know how much of us exactly is determined from birth that we can't change. The environment in which we grow up plays an elementary role in personality development. People who experience a lot of bad things are likely to repeat those patterns, by some way or another. But it is wrong to put the blame exclusively on the wrongness of the world around us. The only way to improve the world is by our own deeds, which starts in our ways of thinking and mindset. Opportunities

Don't be so high and mighty that you don't take advantage of the humble opportunities that are granted to you. There were things that i didn't do that I could have that would have made my life better. Life is very difficult and in order to thrive with this difficult life if an opportunity is presented to you, you shouldn't be so arrogant that you dismiss it. And it's easy to be arrogant, especially as a teenager because you think 'well I'm smarter than everybody else' It's like, actually, no. If you're sixteen and your life isn't so happy, look around and see if there are opportunities that people are granting you. That's some advice that Jordan Peterson, a Canadian psychologist who focuses on improvement of personality and performance, would give his 16 year old self. I think he made a great point.
